Additional Specialty Services
Safe and Sound Protocol
Exercises the neural pathways associated with regulating behavioral state and social engagement. By improving the ability to assess safety in social situations, the SSP helps patients to activate a parasympathetic state.
SOS Approach to Feeding
Works to increase the range of food that a child will eat by increasing the child's comfort level through a playful, non-stressful way.
Sensory Integration
Exposing the patient to sensory stimulation in a structured, repetitive way, allowing the brain, over time, to adapt and allow kids to process and react to sensations more efficiently.
Aquatics
The viscosity and buoyancy of water provides support for the patient and assists in completion of balance tasks with improved safety and confidence. Warm water temperature increases joint flexibility and range of motion, promotes relaxation, and improves circulation.
