  • A research proven treatment to improve communication in patients with Parkinson’s disease or other neurological deficits.

  • Focuses on improving the loudness of individuals who talk too softly.

  • Can improve loudness, articulation, ability to be heard and understood by others, facial expressions, intonation, rate, and prosody. 

  • Intense schedule - 4 treatment sessions / week, 60 mins each, for 4 weeks. 

Vital Stim

  • Used for patients with dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing. 

  • Specifically designed for the swallowing mechanism and musculature

  • Uses electrodes attached to the neck and a neuromuscular electrical stimulation sends a gentle current to stimulate motor nerves, causing the muscles to contract

  • Electrode placement is unique to the patient depending on deficits and muscle groups needing rehab
