Kristen Burns, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy



Kristen holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX, and a Bachelor's degree from Evangel University in Springfield, MO. With six months of professional experience under her belt, Kristen is already making a positive impact in her practice. Her specialized training includes Level 1 dry needling through the IAOM, certification as a KinesioTape clinician, and in LSVT BIG for treating patients with Parkinson's Disease. Her commitment to growth extends beyond her career, as she is currently studying Spanish.


Her vibrant personality is described as fun, personable, and competitive, traits that infuse her interactions with patients with positivity and enthusiasm. One of her favorite quotes, "Reach your highest level of influence and live there faithfully," is a guiding principle that fuels her dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of her patients and those around her.


In her leisure time, Kristen embraces an active lifestyle in outdoor activities like volleyball, spikeball, and hiking. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and baking, nurturing her diverse interests.


As a physical therapist, Kristen finds profound fulfillment in the relationships she builds with her patients and their families. Witnessing patients of all ages make progress is a source of joy and inspiration. Kristen feels blessed to play a role in their lives, no matter how small, and she remains in awe of the positive transformations she witnesses daily.
